ISB Molecular and Cell (MC) Core

Overview of Services

The Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) maintains specialized equipment; some as a shared resource for researchers.

After completing any necessary training, researchers are able to reserve time on equipment and self-operate.

ISB also provides full-service for instruments not available for independent use, as well as for researchers who choose not to run the instruments. ISB services are open to internal and external users.

Instruments are avaible in the fields of genomics, imaging, cytometry and automation.

Equipment available to reserve time on / request services for includes:

Molecular Quantification

  • NextSeq 2000 next gen sequencer
  • Chromium 10x for single cell analysis
  • ABI QuantStudio 6 Flex rtPCR machine
  • Synergy H4 Plate Reader
  • Agilent Tapestation for RNA and High-Sensitivity RNA, DNA and DNA High-Sensitivity analysis

Cytometry

  • Attune NxT flow cytometer and cell analyzer
